Antique Burmese Gilded Offering Vessel

An antique gilded offering vessel from Burma, its bulbous lidded body raised on a stepped foot and topped with a tall, tapering finial. Vessels of this form were traditionally used to carry offerings in Buddhist ritual contexts, the gilding and layered ornamentation marking their ceremonial significance. Compact and richly detailed, it makes a striking tabletop object.

Given its age, expect natural wear to the gilding and surface patina consistent with an antique gilded object.
