Hand-Painted Ganesha with Gold Detailing

Ganesha sits enthroned before a garden balustrade, crowned with lotus buds and haloed in radiating gold. In his four hands he holds an axe, a goad, a bowl of laddoos and his broken tusk, with cobras coiled at his arms and strands of pearls and garlands at his chest. The crown, ornaments and halo are worked in gold, with fine raised dot-work throughout. Painted by hand on paper.
